Lion Metal Sculpture 3.6ft

3.6ft Hand-Forged Lion — Threshold Guardian

This is the “meet-you-at-eye-line” lion—tall enough to command, lean enough to fit. Forged in recycled steel and finished in a natural metallic sheen, it carries a quiet, muscular poise. Set one on a low plinth at a courtyard threshold, pair them on either side of steps, or place it at the turn of a gravel path to hold the sightline. The clear, weather-ready lacquer keeps tone and detail crisp through British seasons, while the form throws elegant shadows across stone and planting as the light shifts.

Every piece is individually made, so character shows in the subtleties: the sweep of the flank, the play of patina, the way it catches dusk. Neither ornamental nor overbearing—just focused presence. A guardian with intent.
