Curry Plant (Helichrysum italicum)

HARDY EVERGREEN PERENNIAL. Ht 60cm.

This plant produces clusters of mustard-yellow flowers in summer. It is highly aromatic with a scent of sweet curry. Add sprigs to vegetables, rice dishes and pickles for a mild curry flavour. A small sprig stuffed into the cavity of a roasting chicken makes an interesting variation to tarragon.
Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. Can tolerate some shade.
