Techbed – a Kindle cushion, iPad pillow, tablet stand, book stand

With people all over the Globe now facetiming, using Zoom, whatsapp video to catch up with loved ones, the Techbed is a simple solution to help. Alleviate aching arms from holding the iPad, no more watching ceilings or up Mother’s nose.

The Techbed is a beanbag stand or cushion for propping up the Kindle Oasis, Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Voyage and not forgetting the Kindle itself. The Techbed can also be used as a cushion for an iPad up to 9.7″, really useful for watching movies in bed or for propping up your iPad to watch TV on your desk and we should not forget other 8″ to 9″ tablets such as the Amazon Fire HD8 and Amazon Fire 7 tablet.

Aimed at those who enjoy reading or watching netflix and movies in bed, for kids to stop them pouring over their tablets, for grandparents or those unfortunate people who are not able to hold their devices for any length of time, the Techbed can help and what’s more, the Techbed portfolio is made by us, here, in Wokingham, Berkshire, UK.

We, I say we, I mean Philippa, props up the iPad 2 on a Techbed for her recipes. It doesn’t matter if anything spills on to the Techbed as it is machine washable on a 30 degree.

The Techbed measures 25cm x 25cm x 31cm and if you find you would like something larger, we have the Techbed Maxi or indeed smaller, the Techbed Mini.

..and don’t worry, we normally find the questions asked are:

“What’s that for?”

“Where is my Techbed?”

“Get your own Techbed!”

As we use the same upholstery fabric for our core Techbed range as we do for our larger furniture beanbags, the Techbed is machine washable on a 30 degree wash although is not suitable for tumble drying.
