Printing

This artwork is giclee printed in Cambridgeshire. Giclee is a fine art digital printing process combing pigment inks with high quality archival paper, the inks are light fast for over 80 years, so a long shelf life for your artwork.

Framing

You can have your print professionally framed and ready to hang – hassle free! The frames are custom made in Cambridgeshire by accredited framers (Guild of Certified Framers). There are three finishes to choose from – black, white or bare oak. Artworks are dry mounted on a backing board and framed with scratch resistant acrylic glazing (phew, no glass breakages in the post). The finished framed artwork will be sealed and have a sturdy hanging cord attached.

Aftercare

If you want your print to truly stand the test of time, please hang it out of direct sunlight as they may discolour and warp over time.

If you would like one of our designs printed in an alternative colour, we have a palette to choose from or if you have a special colour in mind we will match it as closely as possible.  All bespoke colour designs are Giclee prints which are delivered framed and ready to hang.

As you may expect, these bespoke creations are more expensive than our standard prints because of the studio time and materials required. The price for a bespoke, framed artwork is £209 for a 50cm x 70cm design. For this price you can choose from a white, black or oak frame. For more info please email [email protected]

We are happy to personalise our artworks by either adding a caption to a print or highlighting a place on a type map. These designs are Gilcee prints which are dry mounted onto a backing board and professionally framed ready to hang. For some examples of personalised designs please look at our blog post. Prices start at £209 for either of these options – please email [email protected]

Gift notes

If your print is a gift for someone, we can include a free gift note and a short personal message. Please enter this information at the checkout.
